ASTM D1002, 粘接金属试样的搭接剪切强度
粘结强度在很大程度上取决于所采用的粘接工艺。因此,工艺的变化会引起粘合剂强度试验所获得的结果随之变化。按照 ASTM 标准制备试样是制造商的责任。
ASTM 标准规定"试验机须符合E4规范的要求"。对此,我们用5569 电子万能试验机架,配置了50 kN载荷传感器和 带有粗锯齿形夹面30 kN 容量的机械楔型夹具。标准进一步规定:"试样的长轴应与夹具中心线方向一致。"为了确保施加的载荷与中心线能准确地在同一方向上,我们在夹具中插入间隔塞片。最佳情况下该塞片会粘到、或加工到试样上。

Instron's new Precision Series Manual Wedge Grips provide accurate, repeatable, reliable gripping for alignment-sensitive tensile testing applications, such as those governed by Nadcap maximum bending requirements. Capacities are 100 kN (22,000 lbf) and 250 kN (56,000 lbf) , and these grips can also be used for testing in compression with the proper adapters, and in temperatures ranging from -80 ⁰C (-112 ⁰F) to +250 ⁰C (+482⁰ F).

ASTM D1002 Lap Shear
The strength of adhesive bonds depends greatly upon the conditions under which the bonding process is carried out and the testing for which is described in ASTM D 1002, Lap Shear Strength of Adhesively Bonded Metal Specimens. This report demonstrates the capabilities of the Instron test frame and software for testing in accorandance to this standard.
